Harvest for Kids: Reaching the Farming Community, Impacting the World

Each year, during the busy farm show season, spanning the fall and winter months,

Harvest for Kids is actively present at agricultural events across North America. These

gatherings are a key time for farmers to plan for the upcoming crop year, and for us,

they are an opportunity to connect, share, and inspire.

Our mission is simple: to partner with the farming community to raise awareness and

funds for Bible camps and discipleship programs in developing countries, bringing the

hope of Jesus to children around the world.

Expanding into New Fields

In September 2025, we attended Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, Ontario,

an exciting step into a new region. Our hope is to one day see a Grow Project

established in Ontario. During this event, we also connected with dairy farmers,

introducing a product that works well in dairy barns and serves as a meaningful

fundraising initiative.

A Season of Connection

Our journey continued in January with several key events, including the Crop

Production Show in Saskatoon and farm shows in Great Falls, Montana, and Minot,

North Dakota. Each event opened doors to new relationships and conversations about

the impact we can make together.

Looking ahead, we are planning to attend upcoming shows in La Crete, Alberta (April),

Medicine Hat, Alberta (June), and the Ag in Motion Farm Show near Langham,

Saskatchewan, in July 2026.

We are also on waiting lists for additional events and trust that more opportunities will

open in God’s perfect timing.

More Than a Booth

Even when we don’t have a booth, our mission continues. At events like Agribition in

Regina and Ag Days in Brandon, we walk the floors, connect with exhibitors, and share

the vision of Harvest for Kids, serving as “farm show missionaries” wherever we go.

We are continually encouraged by the response. Many attendees have signed up for

our newsletter and supported the mission by purchasing our handcrafted wooden

combines, which help cover booth costs. Thank you!

From Fields to Faith

Beyond the farm shows, these connections are opening doors in powerful ways. We’ve

been invited to share in churches as people learn about the impact of this work, how

children are hearing about Jesus for the first time, and how lives and communities are

being transformed.

We are continually amazed by the relationships built along the way and grateful for

every opportunity to share this mission. Together with the farming community, we are

planting seeds that will have an eternal impact.
