Since 2019, the Hepburn Grow Project has been a powerful example of what can happen when a farming community rallies around a shared mission. Last year’s crop of green peas produced an incredible impact. The proceeds from the harvest helped send over 20,000 kids to camp. Harvest itself was a remarkable sight, with 13 combines working together to bring in the crop — a true reflection of the collective effort behind this project. We are deeply grateful to the farmers, volunteers, and supporters in Hepburn whose commitment continues to make such an extraordinary difference. The Osler Grow Project has faithfully supported our mission since 2019 through the dedication of local farmers who have committed a portion of their land to this initiative. In the most recent growing season, Osler’s field was planted with green peas, producing an impressive 68 bushels per acre. This strong yield reflects both the care invested in the land and the generosity of those who make the project possible. We are thankful for the farmers and supporters in Osler who continue to steward their land in such a meaningful way, turning a harvest into hope for thousands of children.
