Every harvest begins with a seed
Grow projects are an initiative of Harvest for Kids where local farmers donate a portion of their land, materials, or equipment needed to harvest. Through this initiative over the past 15 years, farmers have helped us send Hundreds of thousands of children to camps in developing countries.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Donate land and inputs like seed, fertilizer, or crop protection.
Proceeds from the harvest go to Harvest for Kids, supporting children’s Bible camps.
Gift-in-kind donation receipts can be issued by Children’s Camps International with invoices showing the fair market value of donated items.
Where we are
THREE HILLS, ALBERTA
When this event first launched in Three Hills in 2018, it featured 16 combines harvesting 48 hectares of wheat, which was enough to send 10,000 children to bible camp. That has grown significantly over the years — about 30,000 children were send to bible camps as a result of the 2024 harvest.
LOWE FARM, MB
The community around Lowe Farm gathered in faith, fellowship and purpose as part of the third annual Lowe Farm Harvest last year.
Thanks to favourable weather and a generous yield of 53.6 bushels per acre, this year’s harvest will help send 18,000 children to Bible camps overseas; nearly double the count from last year, when 10,000 children were reached!

HEPBURN, SK
Since 2019, the Hepburn Grow Project has been a powerful example of what can happen when a farming community rallies around a shared mission. Last year’s crop of green peas produced an incredible impact. The proceeds from the harvest helped send over 20,000 kids to camp. Harvest itself was a remarkable sight, with 13 combines working together to bring in the crop — a true reflection of the collective effort behind this project. We are deeply grateful to the farmers, volunteers, and supporters in Hepburn whose commitment continues to make such an extraordinary difference.
OSLER, SK
The Osler Grow Project has faithfully supported our mission since 2019 through the dedication of local farmers who have committed a portion of their land to this initiative. In the most recent growing season, Osler’s field was planted with green peas, producing an impressive 68 bushels per acre. This strong yield reflects both the care invested in the land and the generosity of those who make the project possible. We are thankful for the farmers and supporters in Osler who continue to steward their land in such a meaningful way, turning a harvest into hope for thousands of children.
LA CRÊTE, AB
We are excited to announce the launch of a new Grow Project in La Crête beginning in 2026. This initiative will include 200 acres of farmland, marking a significant new opportunity to support children attending Bible camps through the generosity and vision of local farmers. It is inspiring to see new communities step forward with a desire to make a lasting impact. For the first season, the plan is to seed wheat, with the proceeds from the harvest being shared between our organization and two additional ministries. This collaborative approach reflects the spirit of partnership that makes projects like this possible. We are grateful for the farmers and supporters in La Crête who are helping establish this new field, and we look forward to seeing how this project will grow and bless many lives in the years ahead.
