I come from a Hindu family, and for the last four years, I have been attending the CCI summer camp.

At first, my parents sent me, because they both had to go to work and wanted me to be safe and busy during the holidays. But the camp turned out to be much more than just games and food—it became the place where I met Jesus for the first time.

At the camp, I learned that Jesus loves me personally and listens to my prayers.

That truth stayed with me, even after I went home. Whenever I felt lonely, I would close my eyes and whisper, “Jesus, I need You,” and He would fill my heart with peace.

Last year, something painful happened—my cousin lost her father.

She was shattered and cried every night, saying no one could understand her pain.

I sat beside her and told her what I learned at camp: “Jesus is our Father who never leaves us.”

At first, she didn’t believe me, but I continued to pray for her every day.

Then one evening, she asked me, “Can I pray to Jesus too?”

That night, we prayed together, and she felt a peace she couldn’t explain.

Slowly, her tears turned into smiles, and she started reading the Bible stories I shared with her.

Now, she says, “Jesus is my Father too,” and we pray together every night.
