Transformed by the Word: children in Brazil encounter Jesus at camp

In the Word of God and the love of Jesus, thousands of children in Brazil are being transformed through the ministry of Children’s Camps International (CCI).

In 2024, 9,663 children attended camps in Brazil, where they experienced the life-changing power of the Gospel. This year, we pray that even more young hearts will hear His Word and discover the freedom that comes from knowing Jesus.

A Generation Growing in Faith

Children in Brazil are marked by their love for the Word of God. Their joy is evident as their lives begin to change, thanks to the truth that sets them free. Through games, recreational activities, and Bible-centered lessons, campers not only grow spiritually but also see improvements in their academic performance and family relationships.

Stories of Transformation

Gabriel, one of our campers, shared his testimony:

“My name is Gabriel, and I have ADHD, dyslexia, and social phobia, but when I learn about God, about who Jesus is, I feel very comfortable. I have improved my behavior at school, and I have also improved at home with my sisters, because we used to fight a lot, and now we are at peace. I would like to thank everyone at Children’s Camps International for all their support in this blessed project.”

Stories like Gabriel’s remind us that God’s Word has the power to heal, restore, and transform young lives in ways nothing else can.

Another camper, Raynara, expressed her gratitude:

“What I love most about the camps is learning the Word of God and reading the Bible. I thank God for the opportunity to be discipled. God has been so good to me. Thank you for your help, CAMP Brazil and CCI. God bless you all for your love for the mission work.”

Rooted in the Word, Growing in Grace

At camp, new generations are learning to pray, read the Bible, do devotionals, and memorize Scripture. These spiritual disciplines are equipping children to grow daily in the Word, in grace, and in the ways of God.

Through every game, devotionals, and moment of discipleship, the seeds of faith are being planted deep into young hearts, seeds that will grow and bear fruit for years to come.
