Pavithra's Story

My name is Pavithra, and I am 15 years old. Today, I want to share what the true and living God has done in my life. I was born into a family where we worshipped cow and stone idols. From childhood, I bowed before things that could not speak, hear, or respond. I followed those ways because that is all I knew. But inside my heart, I still felt empty.

When I started attending the CCI programs, I heard about Jesus for the first time in a different way. I learned that He is not a stone god… He is alive. He listens. He loves. He saves. One day, I prayed and said, ‘Jesus, if You are the real God, show Yourself to me.’ And He did. I felt His peace come into my heart like never before.

Slowly, my life changed. Fear left me. Darkness left me. I no longer felt lost. I found hope in Jesus. Now I don’t worship idols that cannot answer. I worship the living God who knows my name. I worship Jesus. I am not the same Pavithra anymore. I have joy, faith, and a new life in Christ.
