Our First Camper (2003)

Children’s Camps International started in 2003, with the first camps starting in Southeast Asia. The first camper that signed up for camp and walked through the doors was John Christopher. As a camper, he had the privilege of hearing the message of Jesus Christ. He accepted Jesus as his personal saviour in the first few years of attending.

As JP grew up, he became a counsellor at one of the camps. For a number of years, he has been helping kids hear the message of Jesus Christ. When he had the opportunity to attend university, he entered the Engineering Department, where he was able to obtain his degree in Engineering.  As he lives out his faith as an engineer, he continues to want those around him to hear the message of Jesus Christ. With a desire to share his faith, JP has become an evangelist. Camp laid the foundations where JP continues to share his faith with others through his gifting as an evangelist. The impact of that day in 2003, when he was introduced to the saving grace of Jesus Christ, has impacted many many more with the message. Bible Camps continue to transform lives beyond the camp experience.
