Sothea, a young boy from Serey Rong Roeung Church in Battambang Province, is one of the many children whose lives have been transformed through the Children’s Camps supported by CCI in Cambodia.

Before encountering Jesus, Sothea faced challenges both at home and in school. He struggled with disobedience, and his academic performance was poor. But everything changed the day he walked into church and heard the message of John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. Touched by God’s love, Sothea made the decision to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior and turned away from his old ways.

In his early steps of faith, he prayed sincerely:“God, I know You can do great things. Please help me with my studies, and I promise to come to church every week.”

As he began building his relationship with God through daily prayer, God honored his faith. That same month, Sothea was ranked first in his class, and he also achieved second place in English.

Moved by this transformation, Sothea shared his testimony with his family. His parents and siblings, witnessing the change in his life, also chose to follow Jesus. Today, they attend church together every week as a family.

But Sothea didn’t stop there—he began sharing what God had done for him with his school friends too. His life became a living testimony of God’s power, grace, and love.

We praise God for what He is doing through children like Sothea. And we thank our supporters and partners who make it possible for children and their families to experience the life-changing love of Jesus.

Glory to God!
