Anura’s Story

“I asked Jesus to come into my life and change me”.

My name is Anura, and I am ten years old. Last summer, I went to a CCI camp that changed my life. Before the camp, I was disobedient and dishonest at home. I did not listen to my parents or grandparents, and I often told lies. I did not care much about God or prayer.

At the camp, Pastor Esther spoke to me about Jesus with love. She told me that Jesus can forgive and give me a new life. One night, God touched my heart deeply. I asked Jesus to come into my life and change me. From that moment, I felt peace and joy inside me.

Now I am not the same boy I used to be. I obey my parents and try to always speak the truth. I pray every day for my family. I wake up early and ask God to bless my mother, father, and grandparents. Through the CCI follow-up program, I am growing closer to Jesus every week.
