A Life-Changing Journey with God in Caucaia

From January 9 to 11, children gathered in Caucaia, Ceará, for a special-themed camp that left a lasting impression on their hearts and minds.

This year’s theme, “The Escape from the Cave,” invited campers to journey into the post-flood era while exploring a powerful spiritual message: how to flee from sin and experience true freedom in God.

The theme sparked deep curiosity among both children and adults, creating an environment where biblical teaching could take root in meaningful and memorable ways. Learning went far beyond traditional lessons — it was woven into every activity throughout the camp.

Each day was filled with dynamic, team-based challenges connected to the theme. Children participated in:

• Team war cries and creative chants

• Bible verse memorization competitions

• A thrilling dinosaur egg hunt

These activities led them to discover hidden codes that unlocked key verses from their teachings. When a team successfully unraveled a verse, they earned points — but to score even more, they had to commit the Scripture to memory. The excitement, teamwork, and joy were contagious!

Evenings brought unforgettable experiences around the campfire. The children enjoyed:

• A bonfire night with marshmallows,

• A themed dinner dressed as cavemen,

• Friendly competitions like corn husking,

• And the chance to prepare their own meals — building fires, cooking rice, and roasting fish together as teams.

More than just fun, these moments taught responsibility, cooperation, and perseverance.

Overall, the camp was truly spectacular. The children not only made new friends and memories — they grew in their understanding of the Creator God, His love, and the importance of living in obedience to Him.

It was a life-shaping experience that will continue to bear fruit in their faith and character for years to come.
