From Feeling Lost to Living for Christ

When I didn’t participate in Camp Brazil, I stayed home feeling sad because I had nowhere to go. After Aunt Angela arrived, my whole story changed.

At the age of 9, I started participating in the meetings, and I learned so much. Later, I began serving on the worship team, but I didn’t feel that was my place. Then Aunt Angela told me that I could teach the children. I chose to teach the younger children, and I have been enjoying it very much.

I teach them the things that Aunt Angela had already taught me in the small group. As I teach them, I get to review those same lessons, and I think that’s really good.

I feel joyful following Jesus. For those who are in the world, the best thing they can do is follow Jesus. I know because I have been in the world. The world is not a very good place for teenagers.

After I met Jesus, I felt that He was for me, that I was meant to live for Christ. I have been enjoying walking with God very much.

I am very grateful to the CAMP Brazil mission and its project to reach children.
