Whether you're a new or longtime supporter of Children's Camps International, you're likely familiar with our Ag fundraising initiative called, "Harvest For Kids".
Harvest for Kids is a simple concept with an eternal impact. We partner with the Agricultural community to grow crops. The profits support the mission of Children's Camps International.
Or, as we like to say, "Farm with a greater purpose".
There are numerous ways that farmers, suppliers, businesses, and landowners get involved. From donating the use of their land to donating inputs to harvesting the field on harvest day. Some harvests are quiet local events, while others have been Guinness world-record events.
This year, our generous Ag supporters worked with us to grow three 'Harvest for Kids' fields:
Three Hills, Alberta,
Hepburn Saskatchewan, and
Lowe Farm, Manitoba
Together, these three events raised around $200,000 for Children's Camps International. These funds will allow us to reach an additional 40,000 campers with the good news of Jesus!
Together, these selfless farmers, businesses, landowners, and families are making a global impact...sometimes without even leaving their hometowns.
To everyone who participated in this year's Harvest for Kids events, THANK YOU! We're so grateful for your contributions! The seeds that you grow feed people for a day but the spiritual seeds you sow into Children's Camps International save souls for eternity, thanks to Jesus.
