Pheak Sokha is a twelve-year-old girl who faithfully attends the weekly follow-up program at Eden Turl Sbov Church. From the very first time she joined, the program captured her heart. Everything felt new and exciting, and she quickly found joy in being part of a community that welcomed, valued, and loved her.
Each week, Pheak Sokha looks forward to dancing, praising, playing games, and learning from the Bible. The program has become a place where she feels truly happy—a space where faith is lived out through joyful activities and meaningful relationships.
So impacted by her experience, she could not keep it to herself. She eagerly began inviting her friends to join the weekly follow-up program so they, too, could experience the love of God through everything the program offers.
The change in Pheak Sokha’s life has been evident. Once known for using bad words, she has begun speaking with kindness and encouragement. She has also formed many positive friendships, surrounded by peers who support and uplift one another.
“The story of the Lost Son has left an indelible mark on my heart. I have seen how genuine repentance and the love of Jesus bring restoration to lives, and this has taught me the great love and compassion that God has for us, being a good and faithful Father”.
This understanding was deepened through the love and care of her counselors, who patiently guided her and helped her see God’s compassion reflected in their actions. Through Scripture, community, and consistent encouragement, she is learning who God is—and who she is in Him.
Her story is a beautiful reminder that when children are nurtured in faith and love, their lives can be transformed, impacting not only themselves but also those around them.
We are deeply thankful to our CCI supporters for investing with us to impact thousands of children in Cambodia. Your generosity and faith are making an eternal difference. God bless you.
