Children as Evangelists: Thavy’s Story

Children are powerful evangelists, and Thavy’s story is a beautiful example of how God works through young hearts to transform entire families.

Through the weekly follow-up program at New Hope in Christ Church, Thavy was invited by his friends and counselors to join the program. What began as a simple invitation soon became a life-changing journey. As he faithfully attended the weekly sessions, Thavy became convinced that Jesus is the true God, and he chose to give his life to Christ.

“Thanks to the transformative experience I have had in the follow-up program, I have learned with certainty from biblical passages, songs, and joyful activities that Jesus is the only one who forgives our sins”. Thavy felt compelled to share the Good News with those closest to him—his friends and his parents.

Praise God for the fruit of this obedience. Through Thavy’s testimony, his friends and parents accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour. Today, they worship God together as a family at church, united by faith and hope in Christ.

Thavy’s prayer is that more Bible schools would be established throughout the countryside, so even more children can hear the Gospel and experience the life-changing love of Jesus.
